Staying motivated sometimes can be very difficult, especially when you are having a rough day or a rough week. There are many different things you can do in order to keep yourself motivated even when you don’t want to.
1.Do things that make you happy
One of the things I like to do when I am not finding motivation is to do things that make me happy, I like to hang out with friends, with family, with my significant other, and my with little dog. I love taking long walks, reading and painting and drawing as well.
2. Workout
Did you know working out releases endorphins (aka the happy hormone)? Well, it does!! Working out improves your mood and it helps gives you energy. If you are one of those people that do not know what to do for a workout then I’ll encourage you to find something on youtube or Pinterest, there are may free workouts out there and many of them do not need any equipment.
3. Make a mood board
I love making a good mood board. I have realized that looking at the different things that I would like to acoomplish gives me motivation to try and accomplish them. I have a mood board as my computer background, I found all of the pictures on Pinterest and then I made it using canva (it’s free!!). There are many youtubers that teach you how to use canva to make a mood board.
4. Watch a tv show/youtube video that gives you motivation
There are many youtube videos about motivation and how to stay motivated, some of them could be about ‘cleaning my bedroom with me’ ‘organize my computer documents with me’ or something similar. By watching these videos you are able to follow along with the youtuber and will be able to be productive yourself. I know I do this frequently.
