Hot Girl Summer 2023 Guide
Happy Summer everyone!! It is officially summer 2023, and this is the time that a lot of people are feeling happy, and excited, and some may be traveling and doing a lot of fun things. That being said, there are also people feeling overwhelmed by the numerous things they feel like they should have accomplished by the summer, and there are always people that either want to be super productive and other who like to relax during the Summer.
In this blog, I am sharing a Hot Girl Summer Guide. My whole purpose with this guide is to help you feel better and happier during this time of the year, it is also my hope that you understand that we are all in different journeys and that you should not be comparing your life with anyone else’s.
Do Summer Activities
If you live in a place where there are 4 seasons, you probably already know what I mean by ‘Summer Activities’. There are many different things we wish we could do during other months of the year, but due to the weather we are not able to do them. So take advantage of the nice warm weather and go outside (remember to wear sunscreen)!! Here is a list of different things you can try this summer:
- Go Hiking
- Go Roller Skating
- Go Biking
- Go the the Beach, Lake, or Pool
- Go on a Walk
These are all different activities that you can enjoy with other people, and they are great activities to do by yourself as well.
Practice Self-Care
For some weird reason, Summer days tend to feel longer, meaning that you are able to do more things during the day. Take advantage of this time of the year and practice some self-Care.
Self-Care can look very different for every single person. Here are a few examples of self-care:
- Read a book
- Hang out with friends
- Go on a solo date with yourself
- Watch a movie
- Go to dinner
- Workout
Take Care of Your Skin
There are many different things that we need to do on a daily basis to take care of our skin. One of the most important things is to wear sunscreen!
Drink Water!! There are very different sources that will tell you how much water you need to drink based on your weight, height, and age. I am not a doctor and I can’t tell you how much water you should drink daily. I know this can be quite difficult for some people, but I find it helpful to have a nice water bottle that I take with me everywhere I go! And I challenge myself to drink two of my 40oz water bottle per day.
Take your vitamins! If you are not a person that takes vitamins, then make sure you are consuming vitamins in different foods such as fruit! Remember to enjoy some good vitamins D as well!
Find New Hobbies
The summer is an excellent time to find new hobbies, and this is because the nice weather motivates us to do things! Try a new hobby this summer. Here is a list of different hobbies you can try, and remember you don’t need to spend lots of money or money at all.
- Go on daily walks
- Canvas painting
- Read a book / join a book club
- Practice a new exercise routine
- Cook a new recipe
Declutter Your Space
To me, having a clean and organized space is really important. Plus, who said that we can only do cleaning and decluttering during the Spring?? Since we usually have more energy during the Summer (thank you Mother Nature) then we should use that energy into doing positive things such as decluttering our space.
Start with smaller things, such as your closet or your bathroom, then you can move to bigger things such as your kitchen and living room!
Not because it is Summer it means that it’s too late to accomplish the things you want!
