If you master your morning, then you can master your entire day. The morning is the most important part of your day, this is when we establish how productive, or unproductive, our day is going to be. In this post I am going to share my perfect Healthy Morning Routine. I am mindful that every person has a different schedule and that this morning routine can be very challenging for some people.
I wake up at 5:35am. Not a minute earlier, not a minute later. This gives me enough time to get ready to workout. I usually have my workout clothe ready the night before so I don’t wake my fiancee up.
I workout from 6:15am-7:15am. I like to go to Orange Theory Fitness, my favorite class is the 6:15am class because it gives me enough time after class to get ready to go to work. It is also nice to feel like I have accomplished something so early in the day as well, and to just get my workout our of the way already.
I get ready for work 7:30-8:00am. I take a shower after working out, and get dressed and do my makeup. Sometimes I have to take our dog out if my fiancee has work early in the morning.
I have breakfast 8:00am-8:30am. After working out I am usually starving! I try to include vegetables, protein and fat in the morning. My favorite breakfast is a green smoothie (green bell peppers, spinach, and lemon juice), bacon, and scramble eggs. This also helps me regulate my appetite the rest of the day.
I leave for work at 8:40am. I start work at 9am, and I am lucky enough to leave only 10 minutes away from my office, which is the only reason why I leave so late in the morning.
I love this morning routine, I have been working out in the mornings instead of nights for two weeks now and I love it. I am not going to lie, I go to bed by 8pm!! If I do not go to bed early I wouldn’t be able to wake up so early in the day.
